Caring for your ponytail headpiece

Is the hair synthetic?

Yes the hair in the ponytail hoods is a high quality synthetic hair.

Do I need to wash it?

You do not need to wash your ponytail headpiece. You should only wash it if it gets soiled.

How do I wash it?

If your ponytail headpiece is soiled, you should wash it in cold water with some washing up liquid and let air dry. Please avoid getting the black base of the headpiece wet as it is made from cardboard and won't retain its structure. We would recommend using a wet wipe to clean the black PVC base of the headpiece if neccesary.

How do I make it straight again if it gets frizzy?

Synthetic hair has a tendency to frizz more than human hair, so if brushing your ponytail headpiece isn't helping, you can use a steamer to straighten the hair out again. Simply brush the hair out whilst applying steam. Please be careful whilst doing this as steam can be dangerous.

Can I use hair straighteners on it?

I would advise you to use the steam method to straighten the hair, but hair straighteners on the lowest heat will also work. Please be careful not to melt the hair on the straighteners!

How do I store my headpiece?

Your headpiece will arrive with a plastic bag protecting the hair. Please hold on to this bag and use it whilst your headpiece is not in use. Keeping the hair loose can cause uneccesary knots and frizz to form.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping internationally on all of our products.

How long will it take to arrive?

Each ponytail headpiece is made to order, so please allow up to 3 weeks for your ponytail to be made. Please note that shipping make longer to reach some areas.

Which shipping company do you use?

We use Royal Mail for all of our shipping.

Do I need to pay import duties and taxes?

Yes - it is your responsibility to pay any relevant import taxes and duties upon delivery of your item.

Returns and Refunds

What do I do if my item hasn't arrived?

If your order hasn't arrived, please check the tracking number provided to check that you haven't missed the delivery. If your package still hasn't arrived, please consult our refund policy at the bottom of this page and email tom@baldeagledesign.co.uk.

Can I get a refund for my item?

If your item is defective or damaged, please let us know immediately upon delivery, and we can refund the order after it has been received back to us.

If you have changed your mind and want to return the product, you have 30 days to let us know. It must be returned unused with original tags. There is no shipping fee for returns. For more information about our returns and refunds, please consult our refund policy at the bottom of this page.

General Questions

The product I want is sold out, what do I do?

We are currently offering limited releases of our products, so to not miss out next time you can subscribe to our emails to be notified of the next drop of products.

Do the ponytail headpieces fit everyone?

Our ponytail headpieces have been designed to fit a wide range of head sizes, but we recommend that the best fit is for head sizes of between 22-24 inches. If your ponytail hood does not fit and would like to return it, please see above FAQs about returns or consult our refund policy below.

Can I cut my ponytail headpiece to a different length?

You are welcome to customise the ponytail headpiece by cutting and styling it once you have bought it. Please note that We cannot accept returns on ponytail headpieces that have been altered or damaged.
